West Seattle Bath

The design incorporated the homeowner's preference for a colorful and playful aesthetic. To ensure the design remained timeless, classic decor elements were also incorporated.

The original locations of the shower and toilet were swapped to create a glamorous walk-in shower and transform the existing shower nook into a separate water closet room. Heath tile was used to infuse the space with color and texture. The teal tile on the floor creates a unifying base and dances across the bathroom floor with a twisting arrangement while the light green tile offers a serene atmosphere in the shower. The pink accent tile adds a playful touch, with the use of pink continued in other elements, such as the bright pink faucet and the soft two-tone paint in the water closet.
To accommodate the owner’s fur baby, the vanity was specially designed to be a home for the litter box where it could be tucked away. This nook is also an excellent spot for items such as a small stool that could double as a bath-side table.
