Queen Anne Kitchen
This traditional Queen Anne home needed a design update for the kitchen that would enhance the overall flow that would offer the homeowners better use of their space and increase the connection to the rest of the house. An island added to the center of the kitchen creates a focal point for gathering as well as additional counter space and a better connection to the dining room while cooking at the new gas cook top. The island doubles as an area to hide trash and recycle conveniently near the back door. A built-in custom butcher block adds style and functionality and the blue cabinetry adds a pop of color to the room.
Finishes include elegant slate tile flooring, stone countertops and white subway tile walls. Custom cabinetry enhances the traditional style with elegant flush drawers. Decorative molding around windows, doors and cabinets ceiling complete the look. An area at the back door for a seating bench with places to hang jackets and place shoes adds to the functional elegance of the space.
