Born and raised in Washington, Cassie is a self-described “millennial foodie,” who appreciates both the dynamic restaurant scene and the rich natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Originally toying with the idea of becoming a professional baker, Cassie was drawn to architecture as a way to help local businesses – particularly restaurants, bars, cafes, and bakeries. Cassie received her Master of Architecture from Washington State University, where she honed her skills as a creative problem-solver.
With a balance of both technical knowledge and artistic drive, Cassie is an invaluable team member at Atelier Drome. She is known for her willingness to push boundaries, working closely with the owner to craft a custom space for their needs, as well as those of their clientele. From the blush-colored curves of Treat Cookies, to the minimalist wood-slats of Phnom Penh Noodle House, Cassie’s designs embrace the details and bring the story of the space to the forefront.
When she isn’t in the office, you can find Cassie whipping up pastries, roaming the forest with her husband and their wire-haired pointing griffon, or plotting her next home renovation project.
