West Seattle Bath

In this first-time homeowner's bathroom remodel, a colorful and playful aesthetic blends with classic decor to transform an outdated space into a vibrant sanctuary. Key changes include a new walk-in shower, creatively used ceramic tiles in teal and light green, and a custom vanity that discreetly houses a litter box, ensuring the space is as functional as it is stylish.

For a first-time homeowner, this bathroom remodel offered the perfect chance to make their home truly reflect their personal style. The design incorporated the homeowner's preference for a colorful and playful aesthetic to transform a previously outdated bathroom into a vibrant and inviting space. To ensure the design remained timeless, classic decor elements were also incorporated.

The original locations of the shower and toilet were swapped to create a glamorous walk-in shower and transform the existing shower nook into a separate water closet room. Ceramic tile was used in an imaginative way to infuse the space with color. The teal tile on the floor creates a unifying base and dances across the bathroom floor with a twisting arrangement while the light green tile offers a serene atmosphere in the shower. The pink accent tile adds a playful touch, and the use of pink is continued in other elements, such as the bright pink faucet and the soft two-tone paint in the water closet.

To accommodate the owner’s fur baby, the vanity was specially designed to be a home for the litter box where it could be tucked away. This nook is also an excellent spot for items such as a small stool that could double as a bath-side table.
