The Livingstone Mixed-Use

The existing mixed-use building was transformed through a comprehensive remodel and expansion, converting the building into a nearly new 4-story structure with expanded ground floor office space and an additional 2.5 levels creating 28 new apartment units, in response to the area's shift towards higher density.

This existing mixed-use building in West Seattle was entirely re-imagined through a full remodel, expansion at ground level and addition for an almost entirely new 4-story structure. While the basement storage level remains the same, the ground floor office space for the current tenant and builder, STS Construction Services, has been expanded on three sides to gain additional office space.

The building is located in the Westwood-Highland Park neighborhood of West Seattle, which is an area in transition and moving forward towards increased density. To accommodate the need for more housing, the upper level of apartments has been removed and replaced with an additional 2.5 levels of apartments to create 28 new units. The immediate vicinity is primarily multi-family with scattered commercial and industrial along Delridge Way SW, and single-family homes to the west of the project site.
