The Flora Bakehouse
In need of a commissary bakehouse, Nat Stratton found a building in a residential neighborhood that was almost perfect for a commissary and a bakeshop. After engaging Atelier Drome, we worked with Nat to expand outward and upward to meet his business' needs.
The building is split into two sections. There is a commissary kitchen that provides baked goods for all of the Flora Restaurant Group's needs. In front of the commissary is a coffee and bakeshop with a fabulous rooftop deck, both a collaboration with Sara Knowles. While it provided plenty of permitting challenges, the rooftop deck has quickly become an icon in the neighborhood.
