The Pantry, a community kitchen in Ballard, offers an array of culinary classes, dinners, and events, becoming an integral part of the neighborhood over time. Founder Brandi Henderson sought to expand her flourishing venture with a second classroom and supplementary preparation space, while maintaining the warm, intimate ambiance of the original setting and accommodating the growing demands of the business.

The design showcases a versatile swinging cabinet divider, enabling both private classroom experiences and an open, communal arrangement for larger gatherings and events. Additionally, the new preparation area features a double-height pantry wall equipped with a rolling library ladder, maximizing storage potential within the compact floor plan.
