An icon in the Central District, Earl’s Cuts and Styles has been serving the community for over 27 years. Due to new development in the area, his building was being torn down – but by working with Africatown and Capitol Hill Housing, Earl has been able to stay in the neighborhood, moving into a brand new space in the Liberty Bank Building.
For the new space, Earl wanted to maintain a lot of the character of his original space, but he also wanted to elevate it – creating a classy and sophisticated salon that still offers a sense of community. The new salon has 4 chairs for cuts, custom dark stained wood cabinets to evoke the sophistication Earl was looking for, dropped beams help keep the tall space feeling cozy, and rich blues offer a pop of color. Custom artwork of Earl himself adorns the wall.
