Formerly an art gallery, the Seattle Downtown Dentist office aimed to preserve the original spacious and airy atmosphere while fostering a connection with the community by continuing to showcase local artists' work. The reception desk greets patients walking in the door with a design that is as much about function as it is form. The angular layout of the reception desk ties into the existing columns while offering an intuitive pathway for patients and guests navigating between the waiting area and treatment rooms. A light, crisp, and contemporary color scheme amplifies the openness of the space, complemented by steel accents adorning the desk's form. An outdoor patio situated in front of the building further strengthens ties with passersby, extending the office's reach into the community beyond its walls.
