Kalie is a Washingtonian with a multi-faceted approach to marketing, honed through years as an artist, graphic designer, and all-around creative. After a whirlwind trip to Spain where she visited Madrid, Barcelona, and the Alhambra Mosque in Cordoba, Kalie’s interest in architecture and design was piqued, and she went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Design from Western Washington University.
Having a diverse background in graphic design, photography, and quality assurance, Kalie thrives on an interdisciplinary and people-centered design environment. She has a deep belief that design is “more than making beautiful objects,” and that by using it to help others, design can achieve a higher purpose. Kalie’s approach is people-centered and begins and ends with the individuals and communities she works with. Bringing this design ethos into marketing has enabled Kalie to understand the larger context around her work, and the importance of every decision. Her forward-thinking mindset helps her envision the best ways to bring ideas to reality, whether they be a media campaign or a design graphic. Outside of the office, Kalie is a fitness enthusiast, and enjoys hiking, running, and dreaming her way through interior design magazines.
