PRODUCTION KITCHENS

Cherry Street Coffee House Production Kitchen, Pioneer Square

Designed for the production of baked goods as well as the food preparation for their breakfast and lunch menu items for all 10 locations throughout Seattle. The design included a large amount of cold storage for pre-prep and post-prep along with a large amount of space for storage racks. The basement location meant that the shaft needed to be designed to reach all the way to the roof and being an older building meant there were challenging code upgrades.

The Flora Bakehouse Production Kitchen, Beacon Hill

Production kitchen and wholesale bakery to support Cafe Flora and Floret. The building was originally an old, derelict bakery that was brought back to life as a contributing neighborhood pillar once again. The final design includes a neighborhood cafe and event space for the public to taste baked goods fresh out of the oven to fulfill the owners' desire to engage and contribute to the community along with a deck for outdoor dining to enjoy the fresh pastries and drinks.

Junebaby Production Kitchen, Ravenna

With multiple kitchens to manage with an expanding pastry menu, Junebaby needed a production kitchen that could serve the main restaurant and the other Edouardo Jordan restaurants. The space next to Junebaby was designed to accommodate a production kitchen in the rear 2/3 of the space, with a very small bar in the front of the space.

Ethan Stowell Restaurants Production Kitchen, Seattle

This additional kitchen space was intended to serve as overflow for the entire ESR network of restaurants that would allow for food preparations offsite that would reduce load on restaurant kitchens and increase efficiency. Production kitchen space included a private event space. Atelier Drome also assisted with permitting for an upstairs bar that was a separate business.

Barque Brontes/Dianne's Delights Production Kitchen, Pike Place

The function of the space is threefold: first, offering passersby the opportunity to stop into the cafe space for pre-made items or a cup of coffee; second, as a catering kitchen serving a diverse clientele around the Seattle area, and lastly as an educational space offering baking and barista classes to the community. Worked with Pike Place Historic Board on the renovation of the space.

Seattle Coffee Works Production Kitchen, Ballard

The old roastery building was updated to create a small production kitchen and bakery for baked goods to serve all four cafes throughout Seattle. Due to the age of the building and code challenges, energy and other upgrades were required as part of the design and construction.

Choukette Production Kitchen, Seattle

The production kitchen and bakery was dedicated entirely to the production of artisan French eclairs for both catering and a small cafe within Pike Place Market. The owners knew exactly what they needed for equipment and Atelier Drome worked with them to maximize their layout to ensure the most efficient operations.
