This residential project in Issaquah is an entry addition and remodel tailored to the needs of a family of four. Their current home has a lot of wasted space, including tight hallways and a long narrow kitchen. These clients wanted to add some square footage to the front of the house, create a more open layout, and elevate the ceilings in the main living and kitchen spaces. To achieve the unique, modern farmhouse style that they love with a neutral palette that avoids appearing too "cookie-cutter," we proposed incorporating the well-loved farmhouse material palette in unconventional and exciting ways.
