This home in Gig Harbor is located a site with a couple of acres of land. The original home is a log cabin and the owners would like to add on but still respect the original log home character. Though much of the interior will be remodeled in a more up-to-date modern aesthetic, the logs will remain.
The addition will be a more modern Scandanavian form which posed a challenge when trying to marry the two masses together but with a creative approach, the design will merge the two together while still letting them read independently.
