The plant-based ice cream shop, Frankie & Jo’s, opened their second location in Ballard and was excited to join a vibrant neighborhood containing some of Seattle’s favorite eateries like Delancy, Essex, Rodellini’s Café and the Fat Hen. The overall aesthetic of the brand is clean and bright with bold patterns and nods to mid-century design that feels reminiscent of being in Palm Springs.
For the new location, new shapes and textures are introduced including the arch hallway opening, the geometric display shelving, and a fresh cacti wallpaper. A major goal was to bring warmth and sunshine to cloudy Seattle with bright areas to mingle including year round cacti greenhouse, which has become a favorite sitting area.
