Interlake Child Care and Learning Center, Seattle
CHILDCARE + EARLY LEARNING
This non-profit infant daycare and preschool wanted to increase the efficiency, provide a dedicated staff restroom, and to increase visibility within the classroom for teachers. By removing a wall to consolidate the space, the center could add an additional child while adhering to the strict state guidelines and improve their operations.

Europa Kids Preschool, Burien
Worked with this spanish-language immersion preschool to fully renovate and permit their existing 7,000 sf center. The design created much-needed dedicated classrooms for their infant, toddler, and preschool programs. Spaces were carefully designed to meet strict state guidelines.

Bella Mente Early Learning Center, West Seattle
This space involved the conversion of live/work and commercial space to approx. 5,007 sf of child care facilities, with residential units above. Performed jurisdictional code review, established new use and designed new accessible restrooms to meet the Seattle Building Code.

Evergreen Learning Center, West Seattle
The project consisted of the remodel of an existing dental office to a childcare facility. The design elements included creating individual classrooms each with direct access from the outdoors along with a covered play space below the building occupying what was previously parking. Provided guidance on room divisions to maximize the occupancy in conjunction with the state guideline for child care facilities and child to teacher ratios. Previously the first location for Belle Mente Early Learning Center.
