CHERRY STREET COFFEE, CAPITOL HILL

Started in the 90s, Cherry Street Coffeehouse started as a community-focused coffee shop that expanded to several branches over the past two decades. The design for a new location in Capitol Hill kept the original vision for the local coffee house, while bringing in a modern touch. The layout of the shop is dictated by a long counter that controls the heavy traffic, keeping flow and function in mind. The small space was built to maximize efficiency and ensure each cup of coffee can be prepared with the utmost care.

Plenty of space was incorporated into the design to display the exceptional coffee that distinguishes the Cherry Street Coffee brand. The sleek and modern finishes blend concrete, steel and wood to create an industrial warmth and cohesive palette with pops of color that is equally inviting and aesthetically pleasing.
