The Ballard neighborhood was chosen for this casual dining style pizzeria and the design, layout, and materials reflect the gritty industrial history of this part of Seattle. The space itself was previously an art gallery and the first step was to reveal as much of the existing structure as possible. From there, subtle layers of color and reclaimed materials were added with the goal of celebrating the authentic and sometimes unexpected nature of the old brick and timber space.
Customers can choose to grab a slice of pizza on the fly and take it to go or instead gather at the custom designed bar tables or booth seating with movable tables for versatility. Raw, chunky materials make up the muted and yet warm palette while reflecting the rugged surrounding area that create a space welcoming to all demographics.
