NEW YEARS ART CARDS 2023

We believe art is a key part of life and not only do we all need it in our homes and offices, our amazing arts community could use our love and support!

They have had a hard time showing work over the past few years and we have not been able to host artist receptions in our own space since the first quarter of 2020. For the 2021 new year, we sent out small art prints in lieu of our traditional holiday cards that includes works from our own participating gallery artists. We thought that if we couldn't welcome you into our gallery to share art then we would have to send the art out directly to mailboxes. It was much loved by artists and recipients - and we've decided to bring it back again for the 2023 new year!

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

Cards are mailed out on January 5 - the official First Thursday Art Walk of 2023 and then once you have received your card, check back here to learn about the piece you’ve received and the artist who created it – as well as all the other works we are sending out to kick off 2023!

Would you like to receive one? Requests for cards will open on December 1st, so check back or watch our Instagram account to see when the signup form is live.

ARTISTS! CALL FOR ART:

Are you an artist and you'd like to have your work included in this mailing to help promote your artwork and brighten someone's home or office with one of your pieces?

Send the following items to lisa.town@atelierdrome.com:

- Send 1-3 images at least big enough to fit onto a 4x6 and at 300 dpi for a high quality print
- Information for each image: title, original medium used, original size of piece
- Artist Bio
- Ways to connect with you: website, social media accounts, email

Deadline:

All images and associated information need to be received by November 22, 2022 in order to be included.

Selection:

We will choose a total of 30 images from those submitted. The works can be absolutely anything - painting, drawing, photograph, photograph of a 3D work, any medium whatsoever.

Your images would be used only for the purpose of this effort - the postcard, on the Atelier Drome webpage so people can find you, featured in our newsletter and on our social media so we can help direct people to you. We will not ever, at any point, sell any artworks but if people would like to make a purchase or license an image, we will direct them right to you to do so.
