michelle linden, principal and architect

Originally from Gloucester, Massachusetts (home of the Perfect Storm and very close to Boston), I was fortunate to be exposed to art and architecture from a young age. This is probably what contributed to me attending an architecture summer camp for girls at the ripe old age of 11.

I have always wanted to be an architect, so after high school, I packed my bags for Chicago to study at the Illinois Institute of Technology. My study abroad took me to Delft, Netherlands where I spent 6 months studying Dutch modern design. I loved studying in Chicago - a fantastic city for architecture - and worked for a wide range of firms while living there.

Following graduation, I moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where I first worked on residential projects. After a few years in Hawaii, we moved to Seattle and have been here ever since. I feel lucky to be able to do what I love - creating spaces that actually affect people's lives.
