__________________bridle trails residence A sensitive remodel of a 1970's spec house for a growing family. The client needed to replace a 2 car garage with a new 5 car garage and mother-in-law apartment above. Additionally, they wanted to open up the interior spaces for a more modern style of living. Our goal for the exterior was to create a contemporary interpretation of a Northwest lodge, while minimizing the impact of the 5-car garage. This was achieved in part by breaking up the addition into smaller forms that respect the proportions of the existing house and neighborhood
